1st South Tyrol Photo Olympics

South Tyrol is a true challenge for those travelling with their camera. The apple blossom in the spring, the numerous walking tracks in the summer, the red-burning larch forests and the inviting bunches of grapes in the vineqars in autumn, the wast expanse of snow glittering under the winter sun which shines high in the sky above the majestic Dolomites and the magnificent Alps. And in every season the warmth of the towns, the villages and South Tyrolean people.

Your best pictures about the themes 'Typical of South Tyrol' and 'My holiday accommodation and ist surroundings' are eligible for a prize. By participating in the contest your pictures will be published online in the dedicated photo gallery of your host. All photos will be evaluated via an online-voting and by a panel of experts. Each participant can submint 6 digital photos per theme. Photos' sice should be at least 3 megapixel.

Extraordinary prizes are waiting for you. Among the a dozen vacations for two persons in the most beautiful holidays resorts of South Tyrol. The most striking pictures togehter with the name of their author will get a place of honour in the Photo Calendar 2008.
